A Free Basic Safety Course led by Valley Township Police Chief Joe Friel will be held at Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church located at the corner of Rts. 322 & 897 at 4833 Division Highway in East Earl. It will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 1:00—3:00 p.m. Topic of the day “Scams.”
The topic will be recognizing senior scams, protecting yourself from fraud, steps to take if you become a victim of scams and resources and referrals. Public is invited.

Blessing of the Motorcycles
Sunday, June 14th 10.00 AM.
A blessing service for motorcyclists travelers, and walkers will be held during morning worship and a blessing of the motorcycles held in the parking lot after worship. Lunch at 11:30 a.m. for everyone to enjoy fellowship with all bikers. Kick stands up at 12:30 PM. All donations will go to Kenny for medical and costs needed.
Kenny Patterson of East Earl, PA loved playing football. At age 12 he had difficulty breathing and was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and primary pulmonary hypertension. Kenny had a heart/double lung transplant by the same donor. Last summer after a lengthy illness, Kenny was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. After receiving treatment for the Crohn’s Disease the medication caused rejection to his transplanted lungs. Kenny is waiting to have a heart catheterization before any decision will be made about another transplant. Kenny is now 28 years old, with a wife Meghan and 10-month-old son Brayden.
For those who would like to walk, walkers will meet at New Holland Park at 1:00 p.m.
